European Currencies Post High Valuations Against Rupee

The Euro and the British Pound Sterling demonstrated considerable strength in the open market on Saturday, with both currencies trading at high values and showing significant spreads between their buying and selling rates.

The Pound Sterling was the most expensive currency, with a buying price of 376.25 and a selling price of 379.69. The Euro concluded the day”s trading with a buying value of 327.43 and a selling quotation of 330.48.

Meanwhile, the United States Dollar was valued at 279.57 for buying and 280.25 for selling.

Key currencies from the Gulf region also registered their positions, with the UAE Dirham being exchanged at 76.25 for buying and 76.95 for selling. The Saudi Riyal stood at 74.61 for buying and 75.23 for selling.

The Japanese Yen was quoted with a buying rate of 1.73 and a selling rate of 1.80.

These currency exchange figures were released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
