Islamabad, December 21, 2018 (PPI-OT): During the 148th meeting of the OPF Board of Governors convened on December 21, 2018, the Board unanimously agreed on finalizing the ongoing housing projects of OPF Valley Zone-V, Islamabad and OPF Housing Scheme Lahore, etc. The board members further directed the management to ensure the earliest possible completion of the above mentioned housing projects. The Board also directed to fill the vacant casual vacancies on the Board. They also approved the award of scholarship to children of overseas Pakistanis on annual basis through its OPEF scholarship program.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Pervaiz Ahmed Junejo, Secretary M/o Overseas Pakistanis and HRD / Chairman OPF Board of Governors and attended by MD, OPF, Dr. Amer Sheikh, Special Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Shah Jamal and other board members including Mr. Khalid Mehmood Raja, Mr. Majid Ali Chaudhry, Ms. Nyla Qureshi, Additional Secretary, Finance Division, Dr. Arshad Mehmood , Additional Secretary, Commerce Division, Mr. Javed Akber Bhatti, Additional Secretary Interior, Mr. Muhammad Siddique and Additional Secretary Law Division, Mr. Muhammad Khashih Ur Rehman.
