The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has unveiled a new artificial intelligence-powered application designed to streamline immigration processes and curb human trafficking.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was briefed on the program’s functionalities during a meeting at the FIA headquarters in Islamabad. Naqvi lauded the innovative software, describing it as a crucial and well-timed development. He pledged immediate allocation of resources to enhance the agency”s IT infrastructure and ordered the prompt modernization of the FIA Headquarters building.

Acknowledging staffing deficiencies, the minister also directed immediate recruitment for all authorized vacant positions within the agency.

The minister”s commitment to bolstering the FIA”s technological capabilities and human resources underscores the government”s dedication to tackling human trafficking and improving immigration procedures. The AI-based application is expected to play a significant role in these efforts.
