Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy towards any threat to national security, underscoring the institution’s unwavering resolve to confront multifaceted challenges with focus and professionalism.

According to a statement today, the declaration was made during a visit to the Lahore Garrison, where the military chief received a comprehensive briefing on the formation”s operational readiness, training standards, and key initiatives designed to improve combat effectiveness.

Field Marshal Asim Munir articulated that the Armed Forces remain steadfast in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability, while fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and selfless national service.

The head of the military also observed a specialised field training exercise which showcased the latest technologies. This demonstration highlighted the Army”s emphasis on innovation and adaptability to contend with the dynamic nature of the future battlefield. During his tour, the Field Marshal inspected sports and recreational amenities provided to troops, noting their importance in maintaining physical fitness, morale, and overall well-being.

Concluding his visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir toured a High Care Center at CMH Lahore, where he commended the medical personnel and administration for their efforts in establishing the fully equipped, state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
