During a mehndi ceremony in village 5 One AL in Okara, a young man named Muaz was killed in a firing incident. Police have detained the suspect, Sajid, and have also arrested the groom and his father.
DPO Rashid Hidayat has taken serious notice of the incident, stating that firing at wedding ceremonies will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The police are adhering to a zerotolerance policy for such incidents.
He further stated that those involved in the incident will be punished according to the law, and those taking the law into their own hands will be dealt with firmly. The police have arrested the suspects and initiated legal proceedings.
