London, August 09, 2019 (PPI-OT): To mark the Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony will be held at the Pakistan High Commission, London on 14 August 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK, Mohammad Nafees Zakaria will hoist the Pakistan’s Flag.
In line with the Government of Pakistan’s announcement, this year Independence Day’s celebrations will be observed as an expression of solidarity with our brave Kashmiri brethren, who are struggling for their right to self-determination.
The High Commissioner has invited the members of the Pakistani community, British friends of Pakistan and representatives of media to attend the event. The High Commissioner looks forward to participation of the families with children to the ceremony.
