Srinagar, June 30, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, two persons critically injured by pellets fired by the Indian police in Pulwama were admitted to SMHS Hospital and underwent surgery. One of them has lost eyesight in one eye. Irfan Ahmed and Aashiq Ahmed from Pulwama are undergoing treatment at the SMHS Hospital following the serious pellet injuries they received in the troops’ brutal actions on protesters on Friday.

“Irfan has received pellet injury in abdomen while Aashiq has lost eyesight in one eye due to pellet injury,” a doctor at the SMHS Hospital said. He said that the injured persons had already been operated upon and their condition was being assessed to decide on a treatment plan.
