Former LCCI Chief Under Fire for Alleged Death Threats Against Successor

A shocking confrontation at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has ignited outrage across the city’s commercial sector after former president Abuzar Shad allegedly launched a tirade of verbal abuse and issued direct death threats against the incumbent LCCI President, Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol.

According to a satement issued today, the incident reportedly unfolded without provocation inside the President’s office, where several high-ranking officials were present, including Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, former President Muhammad Ali Mian, and Executive Committee members Ehtisham-ul-Haq and Rana Muhammad Nisar.

According to eyewitness reports, Mr. Shad gained unauthorized entry into the President”s office and began to unlawfully interfere in official matters, shouting and using profane language. The episode was described not as a personal disagreement but as a premeditated attack on the dignity and sanctity of the institution.

In response to the confrontation, LCCI President Saigol immediately convened an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee. The committee”s agenda focused on formally condemning the behavior and formulating a strategy to prevent similar occurrences and safeguard the chamber”s decorum.
