KAHIRPUR:Four members of a Khairpur district-based family were killed and two others injured in a road accident on Sunday.
According to the Motorway police, a Memon community family of Hingorja town of district Khairpur was returning back to home in Hingorja town from Faisalabad when their car collided with a trailer near Toba Teksigh. As a result, four members of the family were killed on the spot and two others injured seriously. Those died include Dr Zubair Ahmed Memon’s wife Dr Saima Memon, age 35, daughter Hufaiza Memon, 9, Mishra, 13, and Hafza, 3. The injured include Dr Zubair Ahmed Memon, 39, and his son Hamza Memon, 7.
The bodies and injured were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital Toba Tek Singh for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively. The condition of injured was stated to be serious. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in Hingorja town.
