Shikarpur:GDA MNA Al-Haj Ghous Bux Khan Mahar on Monday inaugurated the 132 KV Grid Station Lakhi. He was accompanied by SEPCO Chief Muhammad Saleem Soho.
Initially, the electricity will be be provided to three feeders of New Lakhi, Jhalli Kalwari and Habib Kot, and then the grid capacity will be increased for other feeders, according to SEPCO information.
The 32 KV Grid Station was established with a cost of Rs340 million which will be more beneficial for Lakhi taluka and will minimize the electric load shedding while providing the connection from Lodra and Sukkur as in case of failure of electricity from Lodra, the electricity will remain continued from Sukkur connection in the larger interests of the general public.
