GHOTKI: Ghotki police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered three abducted men from the captivity of dacoits in an operation in katcha area of the city.
After the operation against dacoits of Rawanti area in Ghotki, three men of Lakhan tribe have been rescued from the captivity of dacoits, said the police. The rescued men had been identified as Saleem, Sadoro and Habib Lakhan.
The police said that three days ago dacoits had kidnapped the men from the limits of Aandal Sundrani police station. After being informed, the police conducted a raid on the houses of Sonani Shar tribe for the recovery of abducted men and recovered them after a massive operation. The police said that some houses were set ablaze and arrests had also been made.
