Glowing tributes paid to martyrs of Kupwara massacre

Srinagar, January 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the victims of Kupwara massacre on their martyrdom anniversary, today. Indian troops had mercilessly killed twenty-seven innocent Kashmiris on 27th January 1994 to punish them for observing shutdown on Indian Republic Day, a day ago in that year.

Hurriyat leaders Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Muhammad Yasin Attai, Maulana Sajid Nadvi, jailed leader Abdul Samad Inqilabi, Khadim Hussain, Syed Sibte Shabbir Qummi and Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, while paying tributes to the martyrs, reiterated that Kashmiris would not forget the sacrifices of their martyrs for the freedom cause.

They appealed to the international human rights organizations to fulfill their responsibilities and said that the great sacrifices of the martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and the peaceful struggle would continue at all costs till taking it to its logical conclusion.
