Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, today affirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to advancing quality education across the nation, stating it represents the sole route to achieving sustainable national development. He made these remarks during an event held in Narowal.
During his address, the minister emphasised the pivotal role of education. He highlighted that Narowal had transformed into a significant centre for learning within Pakistan.
Mr Iqbal provided specific figures regarding the University of Narowal, noting that approximately six thousand students are currently enrolled there. A substantial proportion, four thousand, are female students.
