QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha, has said, “I wish to devolve all the powers to divisional and district level so that relief can be provided to the people at their threshold”.
These views were expressed by him while addressing a function in the lawn of Balochistan Civil Secretariat held in connection with the oath taking ceremony of newly elected cabinet of Balochistan Civil Secretariat Officers Welfare Association here on Thursday.
He said, “Government officers and officials do brief the elected representatives about resources of the province and its proper usage”, adding that if elected representatives were not taken on board, it would widen the gulf, creating thereby mis-conceptions.
He said that he believed in negotiations and dialogues for addressing all the issues, hence, government employees were also expected to place their grievances on proper forums in order to find its solution through negotiations.
