THATTA: A high level meeting was held at Thatta Circuit House under the chairmanship of Sindh Governor Imran Ismail here on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by local leaders including Member Provincial Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh and officials.
During the meeting, Hesco and Sui Southern officials briefed the governor. NADRA officials also briefed the governor about the centers set up for identity cards in Thatta district. The governor directed the officials of HESCO to immediately resolve the issue of load shedding and power transmission system.
He said that they were contacting the Home Ministry for setting up a passport office in collaboration with NADRA in Thatta. He also instructed Deputy Commissioner Thatta to solve the problems of the people. The governor also directed Deputy Commissioner Thatta to monitor the process of distribution of funds at Ehsaas Kafalat Center.
He said that it was the responsibility of the police officers to provide justice to every person. The governor directed the police officers to focus on improving the policing system in the district.
Later, Ismail also visited Ehsaas Kafalat Center Thatta. He reviewed the process of distribution of funds and also inquired about the problems of the women who came to the Ehsaas Kafalat Center. The governor directed the officials of Ehsaas Program to improve the process of distribution of funds.
