Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori offered prayers for Pakistan’s peace, prosperity, and security during his reverent visit to the shrine of Hazrat Ali (RA) in Najaf, Iraq.
The visit marked a moment of spiritual reflection and interfaith solidarity, the Governor House informed today. Upon his arrival at the sacred site, Governor Tessori was received by Syed Haider Al-Hakeem, Vice President of the shrine.
He was accompanied by Dr Raza, the representative of Shams al-Din Muhammad Nehru al-Kasnazan al-Qadri al-Hussaini, along with prominent members of the Bohra community.
Governor Tessori also took part in the distribution of langar (charity meals) among devotees, emphasizing the values of compassion and service.
In addition to his visit to the shrine, the governor paid respects at the historic residence of Hazrat Ali (RA) and the grand Masjid-e-Kufa. He spent time reflecting on the historical and religious significance of these sacred landmarks.
His itinerary also included a visit to the shrine of Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel (RA), where he offered Fateha and supplications for national unity and harmony.
