Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said the Large-Scale Manufacturing recorded a growth of 4.1 percent, which is a positive indicator.
Talking to the media in Islamabad on Sunday, he said exports have surged by five percent, while IT services have increased by 20 percent.
The Minister noted that the country received remittances worth 38 billion dollars last year, and this figure is expected to cross 41 billion dollars this year. He emphasized that the government is fully focused on achieving sustainable and inclusive growth.
Regarding the Finance Commission Award, Muhammad Aurangzeb said he looks forward to welcoming the provincial chief ministers and their teams next week for a constructive and productive discussion on the matter.
