PESHAWAR:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance Taimur Saleem Jhagra has said the government has presented a poor-friendly and balanced budget despite facing financial challenges.
Addressing the post-budget conference here in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said sufficient allocations have been made for Swat motorway phase-II, Dir motorway, Daraban Economic Zone, Peshawar-DI Khan motorway to improve provincial infrastructure.
The Minister said the government will launch Insaf Food Card at a cost of twenty-six billion rupees within three months which will benefit more than two million families. Similarly, Education Insaf Card is also proposed at a cost of one billion rupees to provide assistance to students for higher education.
