Islamabad, September 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that incumbent government with the help of its allied parties has saved the country from bankruptcy. Addressing Lawyer’s convention in Islamabad today, he said last government pushed the country on the verge of financial default. The Prime Minister said now flood has created a challenging situation for the country.
He said these rains and flood are unprecedented and people in Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and South Punjab have suffered a lot. Shehbaz Sharif regretted that Pakistan even after 75 years of its inception is not economically strong. Earlier, the Prime Minister held balloting for allotment of plot numbers to federal government employees.
He also distributed plots allotment letters among the lawyers. He congratulated lawyers for holding balloting of their housing colony. He said government will fulfill its all responsibility for basic development in this housing scheme. Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar in his remarks thanked Prime Minister for holding balloting for lawyers housing scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Housing and Works Moulana Abdul Wasay said all departments of government are taking steps to facilitate public. On the occasion, Pakistan Bar Council announced to donate five million rupees in Prime Minister Flood Relief Fund.
