QUETTA: Haq Do Tehreek (HDT), Quetta demands to appoint Pushtun Governor in Balochistan besides addressing other points of the charter of demand of HDT, Quetta.
Addressing a press conference with Gran Bacha, Central Organizer, HQT, Quetta and others, Bashir Khan Boxer, Chairman, “Haq Do Tehreek, Quetta” said that if 31 points charter of demand of HQT, Quetta were not entertained by the authorities within a period of seven days, protest movement would be launched.
Demanding the authorities to amend Balochistan Recruitment Policy, 1991, dividing provincial sports and culture department into two separate departments, conducting inquiry to probe irregularities committed in Directorate of Sports, Balochistan, providing relief goods to the rain and flood affected families of Sariab Road, Eastern Bypass, Western Bypass, Pushtunabad, Kharotabad, Nawa Killi and other rain and flood affected areas of Quetta, he said that mega projects were required to be started in Quetta by the federal and provincial governments for the development of Quetta city.
He said that it was not known why the hospital constructed near T.B hospital Thana Road, Quetta by the then Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Muhterma Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani was dysfunctional. Demanding for operationalising the hospital at Wafa Road, Quetta, he said that basic problems of people, including electricity and gas, needed the attention of higher authorities of Balochistan Province, particularly district Quetta administration, as chilly season might create hardships for the people of Quetta city.
He also demanded for opening “Business Points” along Pak-Afghan border, including Badini Pak border, Kakar-Khurasan Pak-Afghan border, Tuba Kakari Pak-Afghan border and Chaman-Spin Boldak Pak-Afghan border. He said that if 31 points charter of demand of HQT, Quetta were not entertained by the authorities within a period of seven (07) days, protest movement would be launched.
