The 25th Men’s National Baseball Championship, organized by the Pakistan Federation Baseball, has reached its final four stage. On the fourth day of the competition, HEC and Islamabad won their matches and advanced to the semifinals, joining Army and WAPDA.

The day’s matches were played at GHQ Baseball Ground in Rawalpindi, where HEC defeated Police 11-0. Muhammad Shah, Madasar, Junaid scored 2 runs each, while Raees, Irfan, Saeed, Akram and Rizwan scored one run each for HEC.

On this occasion, the ceremony was graced by the honorable guest, Minister of Education Punjab, Rana Sekandar Hayat. Pakistan Federation Baseball Secretary-General, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, warmly welcomed him and presented him with a bouquet. The teams were introduced to him, and he also interacted with the players, speaking with them on this occasion.

In the match played afterwards, Islamabad defeated Punjab by 12-0. Wahid, Fazal Rabbi and Muhammad Khan scored 2 runs each for the winning team, while Jabran, Razaq, Fayyaz, Rehan, and Abdul Malik scored 1 run each. Major Ali Tahir, Tahir Mahmood, Amir Imdad Bhatti, Amjad Nawaz Khan, Hamza Ashraf, and others were present on the occasion. The matches are being supervised by Zafar Hussain Waraich, Zubair Watto, Tariq Pasha, Sajid Muhammad, and Zubair Malik under the Chairman Umpiring Muhammad Jamil Kamran, while Muhammad Mubraiz Hussain is the scorer.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Federation Baseball Secretary-General Syed Fakhar Ali Shah announced that the championship has been postponed for two days due to rain predictions. The semifinals, featuring WAPDA vs HEC and Army vs Islamabad, will now take place on July 6, and the final match will be held on July 7. This announcement was made during a conversation with the PFB media manager Perwaiz Ahmed Shaikh at the GHQ Ground in Rawalpindi, where the 25th Men’s National Baseball Championship is being held.
