Speakers at a workshop, while stressing that no nation can progress without a strong educational foundation, declared that the joint efforts of all segments of society are essential for the promotion of education and strategic planning in the modern era.
This discussion took place during a one-day consultative workshop held today at Government St. Theresa High School under the Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project, supported by the Asian Development Bank.
The purpose of this forum was to create awareness among relevant individuals and stakeholders and to gather constructive suggestions to improve the structure of secondary education in Sindh and ultimately enhance the quality of learning.
The host school’s Headmaster, Aftab Memon, welcomed the guests. The event was attended by several education officials, including Assistant Education Officer ESand HS Khairpur Atiq-ur-Rehman Memon, TEO ESand HS Khairpur Mukhtiar Ahmed Solangi, and Focal Person DEO Secondary Khairpur Madam Huma Rizwan.
Other prominent participants included Fakhar Nisar Bhambhro, Ayaz Sandhelo, Madam Moomal, Umme Farwa Sial, Ghulam Asghar Memon, Huzooran Sahito, and Rabia Basri.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from the media and civil society, such as Deputy General Secretary of Press Club Khairpur Shahid Nawaz Sial, educationist Abdul Razzaq Memon, Pervez Larik, Asghar Memon, and journalist Farhan Maitlo.
