Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar, accompanied by Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon, visited Aga Khan Hospital today, where he met police personnel injured during yesterdat’s violent protest sit-ins in Karachi.
According to Sindh home ministry information, the minister inquired about their health and recovery. He also issued directives to senior police officials to ensure high-quality medical care and provide all necessary support to the injured personnel and their families.
‘No compromise should be made in providing the best possible medical facilities to the injured policemen,’ said Mr Lanjar, emphasizing the importance of consistent communication between police focal persons and the families of the affected officers.
The injured personnel under treatment include Zaigham Abbas from the Model Colony Police Station, Ayaz Khan from the Shaheen Force, and Nawaz Ali from the Special Security Unit (SSU).
The home minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the welfare of its police force, urging officials to prioritize the rehabilitation and recovery of those injured in the line of duty.
