The Meteorological Department has predicted today that most parts of the country will mainly experience hot and dry conditions. Despite this general scenario, a different weather pattern is expected in some northern and western regions, with strong winds and thunderstorms possible during the evening and night.
Particularly Northeastern Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan have been identified as areas where these adverse conditions may develop.
In contrast, in Southern Punjab and Upper Sindh, with partially cloudy skies, dusty strong winds are forecast in the afternoon.
As of this morning, major urban centers recorded varying temperatures. Islamabad recorded 19°C, while Lahore recorded 25°C. Karachi recorded the highest at 28°C. Further north, Peshawar experienced 21°C. Quetta was notably cooler at 17°C, while Gilgit and Murree recorded the lowest at 13°C. Muzaffarabad’s temperature was recorded at 20°C.
