Hot and dry weather predicted in most parts of the country, thunderstorm expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir.

The Meteorological Department has predicted today that hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, gusty winds and thunderstorms may occur at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining areas during the afternoon.

Particularly, these rains are possible in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and their adjoining areas, which may be accompanied by strong winds and lightning storms in the latter part of the day.

Temperatures in major urban centers across the country indicate varying conditions in the morning. Islamabad recorded 23°C, while Lahore experienced 26°C.

Karachi recorded a high of 30°C. Peshawar was 22°C, and Quetta was 18°C.

Further north, Muzaffarabad saw 16°C, Gilgit 11°C, and the hill station Murree recorded a temperature of 12°C.
