Hurriyat leaders visit Mukhtar Sofi, martyrs’ families

Srinagar, July 15, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have condoled with senior resistance leader, Mukhtar Ahmed Sofi, on the sad demise of his father in Malakhnag area of Islamabad district. A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference visited the residence of Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi in Islamabad district and extended condolence to him on the demise of his father.

On the directives of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a delegation of the Hurriyat forum visited the residences of 12-year-old Andleeb, 20-year-old Irshad Ahmed Lone and 22-year-old Shakir Ahmed Khanday of Hawoora, Kulgam who were recently killed in firing by the Indian forces.

The delegation expressed solidarity with the bereaved families. The Mirwaiz also spoke to the parents of all the martyrs over phone and conveyed his personal condolence. He said the people of south Kashmir are bearing the brunt of forces’ aggression and oppression. The delegation also visited many areas of Kulgam and met the dozens of people injured in forces’ firing. The delegation also visited the residence of Mukhtar Ahmed Sofi whose father passed away and offered condolences.

A team of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat led by party Chairman, Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui and comprised Shabbir Ahmed Zargar, Sheikh Musaib and Reyaz Ahmed visited Cheeni Chowk and Matt Chowk, Islamabad, to offer condolences and sympathies with Hurriyat leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi on demise of his father Ghulam Muhammad Sofi and Hurriyat activist Bilal Ahmed Wagay to offer condolences and sympathies with bereaved families.

Speaking on the occasion Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui and Sheikh Musaib shed light on the philosophy of life and death and prayed for the eternal peace of departed souls and patience of their bereaved families. The JKSM delegation comprised Imtiyaz Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed and Manzoor Ahmed, continuing mass contact programme, today, expressed solidarity with Hurriyat leader Mukhtiyar Sofi on death of his father.
