The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that every match of the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup will be broadcast live across the globe, ensuring fans worldwide can follow the action as the tournament begins today with three fixtures scheduled.
According to a report by ICC today, the 16-team competition, co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia, commences with an action-packed opening day. India is set to take on the USA, Scotland will face co-hosts Zimbabwe, and Tanzania will compete against the West Indies.
In the Indian subcontinent, JioStar will deliver extensive coverage via Star Sports on linear television and through the JioHotstar digital platform. Viewers in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal, and Bhutan will also receive the Star Sports feed. All matches will be available with English commentary, while fixtures involving India will also be offered in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
For audiences in Sub-Saharan Africa, SuperSport is the official broadcaster, providing live access to all matches across its linear and digital services.
Across the Americas, ESPN will air the tournament in the Caribbean and South America, with its telecast also accessible on the Disney+ app. In the USA and Canada, cricket enthusiasts can tune in via Willow TV’s linear and digital platforms.
Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the event on Sky Sports. In Oceania, Amazon Prime Video will stream the matches in Australia, while Sky TV holds the broadcast rights for New Zealand.
Elsewhere, eand will provide coverage in the Middle East and North Africa through the Criclife channel on Starzplay and linear TV. In Pakistan, a combination of digital platforms including Myco, Tamasha, ARY Zapp, and Tapmad will be complemented by linear telecasts on PTV and Geo Super.
