If Kashmir not dispute why discussed in London, new York: Masood

Bristol, October 21, 2019 (PPI-OT): President, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Masood Khan called upon the world community to come forward and put pressure on Indian government to end the siege of Occupied Jammu Kashmir. He was addressing at a reception organised by Pakistani Association of Bristol (PAB) and Bristol Kashmir Foundation (BKF) in Bristol Community Hall.

President Khan said United Kingdom (UK) must play leadership role to resolve the Kashmir dispute. He further said that it is the responsibility of UK to come forward for a human cause, and play its leadership role in peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute. “Kashmir is neither India’s internal matter nor a bilateral issue between Pakistan and India,” he said and added that if Kashmir had been the internal matter of India, it would never have been discussed in London, New York, Washington and Brussels today.”

On the occasion Chairman Public Accounts Committee AJK Abdur Rashid Turabi said that the people Kashmir are not ready to compromise on right of self-determination. He said now it is the duty of international community to come forward and help Kashmiris for getting their basic rights which have been snatched by Indian government since long.

Kashmiri leader Altaf Ahmad Butt said that since August till now people in IOK are almost in civil disobedience and in such an environment how India can claim that Kashmir is its integral part. President Tehreek-e-Kashmir TeK UK Raja Fahim Kayani said that the fire India ignited in IOK while abrogating special status of Kashmir could not be controlled by Modi.

The Mayor of Bristol Tom Aditiya, Councillor Tim Boss, Chairman PAB, Chairman BKF, Raja Skindar Khan and local councillors also spoke on the occasion. British Kashmiris and Pakistanis were also present in the event.
