Two individuals have been taken into custody following the recovery of a large shipment of illegal liquor.
According to police details, Sub-Inspector Sohbat Ali Gopang, in-charge of the Jani Bidero police post, stopped a cargo rickshaw during a surprise check today.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Tariq Ali Korai and Hamid Ali Korai. Authorities stated that the contraband was being transported from Gumb to Khairpur city.
During the inspection, the suspects allegedly tried to escape but were apprehended. Law enforcement agencies confirmed that 160 bottles of liquor were seized, a case has been registered, and the cargo vehicle has also been impounded.
