Imam-e-Kaba praises Shehbaz Sharif for Development

Lahore, March 10, 2018 (PPI-OT): Imam-e-Kaba Dr. Al-Sheikh Saleh bin Muhammad al-Talib called on Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here today. Matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. The Imam-e-Kaba, speaking on the occasion, praised the chief minister for matchless development projects in Lahore and all over Punjab, and said he had visited the city last year and found it making progress and during his current visit has found more progress in Lahore.

He said the journey of progress is continuing at the fast pace under your leadership. He said various people had told me about untiring efforts of Shehbaz Sharif for the welfare and development of the people. He said he is pleased to know that the chief minister is doing hard work for the welfare and progress of the people due to which whole province of Punjab is progressing and he prays for more successes in the future.

He said due to your hard work the progress and development will spread to whole Pakistan. He said that his visit to Pakistan is a matter of pleasure for him and the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a strong bond of love and religion which is above all relations, the strength of Pakistan is strength of Saudi Arabia and the power of Saudi Arabia is power of Pakistan. He said Pakistan has a significant place in the Muslim world and Pakistan is playing a vital role for peace and stability in the region and the political role of Pakistan in this regard is an establish fact. He said that for these reasons Saudi Arab supports peace efforts of Pakistan and it is standing with Pakistan in this regard.

The Imam-e-Kaba said we give respect and value to the cooperation extended by the Pakistani government, the people and the Pak-Army as both the countries have historical brotherly relations and the rulers of both the countries have strong bonds of purity and mutual respect. He said the whole Muslim Ummah is very well aware of historical ties between the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and both the countries have helped each other during crisis and the matters have been resolved in difficult times. He said that the strength of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia strengthens the whole Muslim Ummah. CM Shehbaz Sharif also talked to the Imam-e-Kaba and his delegation in Arabic.

Warmly welcoming Imam-e-Kaba for his arrival in Lahore, CM Shehbaz Sharif said your visit to Pakistan is a matter of honour and respect for Pakistan and I welcome you and your delegation to the historical and cultural city of Lahore. He said that the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are above worldly benefit and peace is our mutual asset.

He said that due to the visit of Imam-e-Kaba to Pakistan, the bilateral ties between both the countries will further strengthen and the governments and people of both the countries will further come closer. He said the hearts of people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia beat side by side and our pleasures and displeasures are common and the people of both the countries share good and bad times of each other.

He said Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan during normal and difficult times and the people of Pakistan can never forget the limitless cooperation of Saudi Arabia. He said the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia whole heartedly helped Pakistan and stood shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan during troubling times.

The Chief Minister said he is admirer of people friendly policies of Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman and his policies for strengthening of education and health sectors and creation of employment are producing far-reaching results. Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki, Sheikh Saad Al-Dosari, Senator Professor Sajid Mir, Hafiz Dr. Abdul Kareem and others were also present in the meeting.
