22 22-carat variety also saw an increase, with the price of 10 grams now at PKR 395,681 after an increase of PKR 2,751. Globally, the value of the yellow metal also showed strength, reaching USD 4,811 per unit with an increase of USD 35.
Silver, often considered a more accessible precious metal, also showed a similar trend. The price of one tola of 24-carat silver was recorded at PKR 8,404, with an increase of PKR 144. The measurement of 10 grams of 24-carat silver also saw a surge, reaching PKR 7,205 after an increase of PKR 124.
On the international front, the price of the white metal remained at USD 79.20, reflecting a slight increase of USD 1.44. These widespread increases in both local and global markets highlight investors’ sustained interest and the volatile nature of the commodity market.
