India can’t scratch love for Pakistan from Kashmiris’ hearts: Speakers

Islamabad, August 16, 2021 (PPI-OT):A seminar was organized by Friends of Kashmir International in Islamabad to mark India’s Independence Day as a Black Day. The special guest, Federal Minister Syed Fakhr Imam, while addressing the seminar said that the United Nations has passed several resolutions which Kashmiris have promised the right to self-determination.

He said that 900,000 Indian troops have been deployed to guard the population of 9 million in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the philosophy of RSS and Hindutva was being promoted in India. He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan raised the issue of Kashmir in full force in the United Nations and he became the ambassador of Kashmiris.

Syed Fakhr Imam said that educational institutions in the occupied area have been closed for the last three years and the future of the children was ruined.

The speakers said that India cannot take the love for Pakistan out of the hearts of Kashmiri people. They said that we celebrate Black Day on August 15 because India has deprived Kashmiris of their freedom. They said that India has promised to give Kashmiris the right to self-determination in front of the international community but it is not fulfilling this promise.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Altaf Hussain Wani, Zahid Safi, Dr Sadia Zahir, Abdul Hameed Lone, Mazhar Barlas and others addressed the seminar.
