Srinagar, August 23, 2020 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, illegally detained Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Samad Inqilabi has deplored that the Indian troops are killing innocent youth on daily basis in the so-called cordon and search operations. Abdul Samad Inqilabi in his statement issued from Srinagar central jail paid tribute to the youth who was martyred by Indian troops in Salusa area of Baramulla and strongly condemned the killing and injuring of unarmed civilians by the Indian forces.
He said that India was considering Jammu and Kashmir as a colony and that was why instead of resolving the Kashmir dispute according to its political background and aspirations of the Kashmiri people, it was suppressing the Kashmiris by military might. Abdul Samad Inqilabi said that the Indian rulers were well aware of the fact that Jammu and Kashmir was not a part of India but an internationally recognized disputed territory which was yet to be decided.
He deplored that the Indian army had turned the entire valley into a large prison and had stepped up the arrest of political activists to suppress the ongoing liberation movement but they would never succeed in their nefarious designs. He added that the people of Kashmir would continue their liberation struggle till taking it to its logical conclusion.
