India suppressing freedom movement through military might: JKEM

Srinagar, September 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement (JKEM) has said that India is hell bent upon suppressing the Kashmiris’ freedom movement through military might but is destined to fail.

The JKEM spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs. He said, these atrocities are being committed to suppress Kashmiris’ voices but the oppressors forget the historical fact that such kinds of tyrannies cannot suppress the freedom movements.

He further said that Kashmiris would never tolerate killing spree and atrocities and would continue their protest against the undemocratic and inhuman acts. He also condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and activists. He said, it seems that the UN like global organization is so helpless that it is unable to implement its own resolutions on Kashmir.

The spokesman appreciated the role being played by Pakistan in highlighting the miseries of the people of the occupied territory at the international level. He thanked Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan on behalf of the people of Kashmir for raising the Kashmir dispute at global level and the sufferings faced by the people of Kashmir.

He also welcomed the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for highlighting the Kashmir dispute at the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly. He said, Turkey has always supported the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and thanked the Turkish President for his unequivocal stand on Kashmir.
