India trying to fragment Kashmir to serve its interests: Malik

Srinagar, April 18, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, has said that India is trying to divide then territory into small fragments and pieces to serve its interests.

Muhammad Yasin Malik while addressing a condolence gathering at Kangan in Ganderbal district said, “New Delhi and its stooges in the form of pro-India politicians have been and are constantly trying to split us in the name of creed, religion, language and region. An example of this divide is Kangan where people are being divided in the name of Gujjars and Kashmiris to serve the interests of the oppressor and its forces.”

Muhammad Yasin Malik said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste and their blood would bring freedom to the Kashmiri people. “The sacred and pious blood of these youth will never go in vain and will definitely bear fruits and this movement will reach its logical conclusion. Endless sacrifices need to be safeguarded and we have a collective responsibility to ensure it,” he added.

The JKLF Chairman urged the people to stay away from participating in farcical elections. “People should exhibit steadfastness and keep away from these shame polls. I want to convey you that after participation in funerals of our youth, it is unethical and unjustified to cast vote and offer support to pro-India parties,” he maintained.

Yasin Malik said, “Our budding flowers are being trampled by Indian forces with impunity and no one seems to bother or feel any repulsion. Though Indian forces are directly involved in these killings but the responsibility lies on the shoulders of pro-India politicians who during every election ask for votes and after coming into power, order killings of our loved ones.” Be it killing spree in the Kashmir Valley or case of Kathua rape and murder case, he said, these episodes have actually exposed the whole pro-India political class in occupied Kashmir.
