According to university spokesman, the four-day football championship has been inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nusrat Shah with a football kick. In the Inter-University Football Championship, teams from Tando Jam University, Mehran University, Quaid Awam Engineering University and Shaheed Mohtrma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana are participating.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nusrat Shah said that sports activities are as important as academics, because when the body is healthy, the mind will be healthy. She said the sportsman spirit will be boosted.
Principal Chandka Medical College Professor Dr. Zameer Ahmed Soomro welcomed the teams from different universities and said that sports in itself is a healthy activity, where the trend of competition is strengthened.
