A high-profile business mission from the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK UAE) met with industry leaders at the SITE Association of Industry (SAI) to investigate significant opportunities for business development, joint ventures, and industrial cooperation between the nations.
According to a SAI report today, the visiting group, led by Florian Walther, the Country Representative for Pakistan, comprised specialists from a wide array of sectors. These included Retail and Supply Chain (Textile), Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, and Clean Energy Solutions. Other represented fields were Specialty Chemicals, Strategy Consultancy, Electronics, Security Technology, and Diversified Trading.
During the reception, SAI President Ahmed Azeem Alvi welcomed the distinguished guests and provided a brief overview of the SITE industrial area and the association”s role in addressing industry matters. He emphasized that the association takes organized action on behalf of its members.
SAI”s Senior Vice President Khalid Riaz and Vice President Muhammad Riaz Dhedhi also addressed the gathering, conveying their optimism that the visit would be instrumental in promoting bilateral business.
Saleem Parekh, the Chief Coordinator, commended the initiative and expressed confidence that the direct business-to-business meetings would provide an invaluable platform for entrepreneurs to forge strong commercial relationships.
Juanid-ur-Rehman, Chairman of International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs, noted the delegation”s focus on industrial collaboration and partnership potential. He described the contingent as a multisector mission aiming to unlock new investment possibilities.
Members of the local industrial community demonstrated considerable enthusiasm for the event, participating in large numbers in the B2B sessions with the German and Emirati business representatives. A concise video presentation was also shown to inform the visitors about the local industrial landscape.
As a gesture of goodwill, the visiting delegates were presented with shields of the association. The meeting was also attended by prominent SAI figures including Former Chairman Tariq Yousuf, Former Presidents Abdul Rasheed and Muhammad Kamran Arbi, Former SVP Abdul Kadir Bilwani, and Former VP Muhammad Hussain Moosani.
