Central President of Pasban-e-Watan Pakistan and former Minister of Tourism and Transport Azad Kashmir, Muhammad Tahir Khokhar strongly condemned the violations of the master plan in OPF Mirpur during recent years.
Khokhar revealed that land allocated for a boys’ high school was divided into 24 residential plots and sold. Similarly, influential individuals allegedly benefited unlawfully from several other locations where the official master plan was ignored. These lands, which were earmarked for projects for the benefit of overseas Pakistanis and locals, including graveyards, schools, and mosques, were allegedly used for financial gain.
Khokhar claimed that his formal requests to senior officials for plot records were rejected, possibly indicating a cover-up. The Central President of Pasban-e-Watan Pakistan demanded that the higher judiciary, NAB, and the Government of Pakistan conduct a transparent investigation into the alleged corruption and bring those involved to justice.
