Islamabad, July 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed says investigations into the abduction and release of Afghan Ambassador’s daughter are underway and culprits behind this incident will soon be arrested. Briefing media in Islamabad on Sunday, he said the police registered a case on the written complaints of Afghan Ambassador’s daughter Silsila Alikhel last night. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has given very clear directions that the culprits, involved in this case, should be arrested at the earliest.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said Indian media, while unleashing negative propaganda against Pakistan, misused this incident to misguide the international community. He said the media would be apprised about the findings as soon as the investigations are completed. Regarding Dasu incident in which several Chinese nationals had been killed, the Interior Minister said Pakistani and Chinese agencies are jointly probing the matter.
