SHIKARPUR: An irate man killed a step son and left his wife and a child injured over a family dispute in Garhiyaseen town of Shikarpur district, police said on Wednesday.
The man, Karim Bux Shaikh, opened fire on his family over a domestic matter near Government Garhiyaseen Hospital within the jurisdiction of Garhiyaseen police station. As a result, his step son Atur Shaikh, aged 8, died on the spot while his wife Soonh Shaikh and a five-year-old son suffered injuries.
The body was shifted to RHC Garhiyaseen Hospital for an autopsy while injured were rushed to RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur for treatment. No FIR could be registered till late evening of Wednesday.
