Islamabad Capital Territory Police, under the leadership of Chief Traffic Officer Captain (R) Hamza Humayun, has intensified its efforts against illegal parking, which is obstructing the smooth flow of traffic and causing severe difficulties for residents.
To address this significant issue, enforcement authorities launched a strict campaign on Tuesday aimed at curbing the rampant practice of parking vehicles in unauthorized areas. This initiative aims not only to enhance road safety but also to improve the overall commuting experience for the city’s public.
The crackdown has seen increased patrols and deployment of additional personnel in areas known for parking violations. Officers are actively issuing fines and taking necessary action against violators, highlighting the zero-tolerance stance adopted by the police.
Public awareness campaigns are also being conducted to inform citizens about the detrimental effects of illegal parking and to encourage adherence to traffic laws.
