The Islamabad Police organized a ceremony here at Rescue 15 Field Office on Monday to honour its brave officers as part of the ‘Week of the Ghazis’ celebrations.

The event was attended by the Senor Superintendent Police (SSP) Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt, SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan, zonal Superintendents Police (SPs), and decorated officers of the Islamabad Police.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt said, ‘Today is not only a moment of pride and gratitude but also a day to renew our commitment.’

He paid rich tribute to the courageous officers, stating, ‘We salute the brave personnel who are imbued with a spirit of duty, sacrifice, and courage.’

‘Our officers, who have made Islamabad a peaceful city and upheld the dignity of the police force, are the pride of our department,’ he added. Highlighting the spirit of sacrifice, he noted, ‘The passion to sacrifice for the nation and country is a hallmark of true heroes.’

‘We will always remember our Ghazis,’ Butt emphasized. He also acknowledged the respect due to the families of those who have sacrificed for the country, saying, ‘The families of those who laid down their lives for the country are equally worthy of our deepest respect.’

He further stated, ‘The benefits and privileges extended to those who fought the war against terrorism can never truly match the magnitude of their sacrifice.’

‘Those who give their today for someone else’s tomorrow will always be remembered in history,’ concluded SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt.
