Islamabad Traffic Police, under the leadership of Chief Traffic Officer, Captain (Retd) Hamza Humayun, launched a large-scale operation against traffic violations. As a result of this crackdown, 100,382 illegally parked vehicles were removed and action was taken against them.

Over 35,000 motorcyclists were issued challans for riding without helmets. Authorities also took notice of various other offenses, including 26,367 lane violations, 23,529 seat belt violations, and 23,730 wrong-way driving incidents.

Vehicles with illegal number plates were also targeted in the operation, resulting in action against 40,721 vehicles with decorative or illegal number plates and 30,415 overloaded vehicles. 5,499 drivers were penalized for using mobile phones and 3,566 were challaned for driving without a license or underage driving.

The campaign also took notice of 4,894 cases of misuse of high beam lights, 5,974 vehicles with tinted glass, and 3,850 vehicles without number plates. Authorities reiterated their commitment to impartial action and stated that there will be no concessions for motorcycles with loud silencers. Strict measures were taken against one-wheeling and dangerous driving, and a zero-tolerance policy was adopted against all traffic violations.
