QUETTA:Hammad Khan Kakar, President, Organization of Islamic Youth (OIY), has said that youth delegates from different Islamic countries arrived Quetta to participate in “Islamic Youth General Assembly” to be held in the conference hall of Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Quetta under the aegis of Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan and Organization of Islamic Youth in Quetta on March 28-29-30, 2022.

Talking to PPI here on Sunday, he said that youth delegates from different Islamic countries, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sudan, Indonesia, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Afghanistan, reached Quetta to attend “Islamic Youth General Assembly” to be held in the conference hall of Balochistan Provincial Assembly, under the auspices of Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan and Organization of Islamic Youth (OIY). Terming the assembly of youth of different Islamic countries as a land mark development, he said that it would help strengthen bonds of unity, brotherhood, bilateral cooperation in social and economic sectors amongst the Muslim countries besides highlighting the soft image of Pakistan and Balochistan province abroad.

Highlighting the sufferings being confronted by the people of Afghanistan, Kakar added that people of war ravaged country Afghanistan were anxiously looking towards brother Muslim countries for immediate financial aid and assistance in order to avert the looming humanitarian crises in Afghanistan. He said that participants of the moot would deliberate and accordingly come out with viable solutions to various issues being faced by the Muslim umma, including the issues of “Islamophobia”, “crises in Afghanistan”, “Palestine”, “Kashmir” and “Blasphemy”.
