Ismail offers Eid Namaz at Governor House

Karachi:Governor Sindh Imran Ismail offered Namaz-e-Eid ul Azha at the lawns of Governor House mosque.

MPAs Jamal Siddiqui, Saeed Afridi, Ali Aziz, officers and staff of Governor House also offered prayers with him. SOPs against Coronavirus were strictly implemented before and after the prayers. Special dua was offered for the solidarity and prosperity of the country. The Sindh governor congratulated those present on the occasion while observing the SOPs and precautionary measures against Coronavirus.

He said that the ground realities compared with last year were totally different due to Covid-19 pandemic. “Keeping in view the situation, we have to be cautious after Eid also and must adhere to the SOPs against Coronavirus,” he added.

Governor Sindh further said that we have to continue not to shake hands, avoid hugs, and maintain social distancing and most importantly washing our hands frequently. It must be a joint effort against Coronavirus to ensure that its numbers continue to decline, he remarked.

The governor said that due to farsightedness of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan was able to strike a balance between measures against Corona and keeping the economy running. Due to Prime Minister’s vision we are in a far better position as compared with our neighbours, he opined.

He said that whole world was acknowledging the steps of Prime Minister to deal with Covid-19. He hoped that the people of Pakistan and specially Sindh would be able to celebrate both of our Eids and other festivals with traditional fervor and enthusiasm.
