Jam urged to take notice of Quetta’s poor cleanliness

QUETTA:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Women Wing Balochistan President Zulekha Mandokhail on Sunday said that Quetta city, which was known as little Paris in terms of cleanliness, had been turned into heap of garbage.

These views were expressed by her while talking to party workers during her visit to Quetta city in connection with “Clean Quetta Campaign”. She called on chief minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan to take notice of the poor cleanliness situation and direct the authorities concerned to improve cleanliness situation of the city.

She added that little Paris of the past had been transformed into the pile of dirt. Mandokhail added that putridity emanating from the piles of garbage lying in different areas of the city had made the lives of citizens of Quetta miserable.

She said that the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation staff deputed for carrying out cleanliness drive did not perform their duties. She urged the chief minister and other authorities to take notice of the issue so that citizens could take a sigh of relief.
