JKSDMI organises first Kashmir cultural exhibition in Bradford

Srinagar, January 07, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) organized first Kashmir Cultural Exhibition in Bradford city of the United Kingdom. The exhibition was held as a part of campaign to commemorate the year 2019 as the year of self-determination. Kashmiri shawls, clothes and other products were put on display during the event.

The UK shadow minister for Justice, Barrister Imran Hussain was chief guest on the occasion. Besides Kashmiris and Pakistani settled in Britain, a large number of local people and people from other countries visited the Kashmir Cultural Exhibition and took keen interest in Kashmiri products especially Kashmiri shawls and dresses.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement International, Raja Najabat Hussain and his team worked day and night to organize the exhibition. The purpose of the exhibition was to convey to the world that the people of Kashmir, who are living under the illegal occupation of India and are facing the Indian state terrorism, are skilled and possessing many qualities. And if they were given a change in a free atmosphere, they would play an important role in the world of business besides progress and prosperity of the world.

The UK shadow minister for Justice, Barrister Imran Hussain speaking on the occasion said that the exhibition will convey a message to the world that unique products are made in Kashmir. He said the Indian brutalities in Kashmir have also harmed the Kashmir’s economy. He said they have and will fully defend and participate in the programmes of Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement and will stand side by side with Raja Najabat Hussain.

The patron of Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement International, Sardar Abdur Rahman Khan, Director administrative affairs of JKSDMI, Heiry Boota, former Lord Mayor of Bradford, Raja Ghazanfar Khaliq, coordinator of cultural exhibition, Pameela Ashraf Malik, Councilloer Sabeeha Khan and other leaders visited the exhibition and take interest in the Kashmiri products.
