JUI-F decides not to join Balochistan government

QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Monday decided not to join the Balochistan government.

Addressing a press conference in the provincial secretariat of JUI-F here on Monday, Moulana Abdul Wasey, Federal Minister and Provincial Ameer, JUI-F, Balochistan said that Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had responded contrary to the charter of demand presented by JUI-F for inclusion in the provincial government.

He said that parliamentary party and Executive Committee of the party had earlier decided to join the provincial government to help assist the flood affected people of Balochistan, adding that Mir Abdul Quddus had agreed to provide services to the flood affectees.

But no plan had been prepared for the relief and rehabilitation of flood affected families of the province despite lapse of three months, Wasey added. Highlighting miseries of the flood affected people, he said, “The provincial government is requested to leave all engagements and pay attention to help carry out relief and rehabilitation activities in the flood affected areas of Balochistan”.

Wasey said that JUI-F charter of demands included, inter alia, the restoration of Qazi Courts and Islamic Idealogical Council. On the occasion, MPAs Mir Younas Zehri, Haji Nawaz Kakar, Asghar Tareen, Azizullah Agha, former MPAs Mufti Gulab Kakar, Haji Ainullah Shams and others were also present.
