In a significant move to bolster economic growth, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan, announced that the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (KCCI) budget proposals will be prioritized under the Prime Minister’s economic vision.
During a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Industries and Production, Khan underscored that facilitating the business community and addressing their challenges are integral to the government’s economic agenda.
Khan, who recently visited Karachi to engage with the KCCI, confirmed that their proposals aim to enhance industrial and commercial activities. He instructed relevant departments to commence immediate implementation efforts.
Emphasizing the importance of ease of doing business, Khan noted that supporting the business community is a fundamental duty of his Ministry. He declared that economic growth hinges on the swift resolution of business issues and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering investment and promoting industry nationwide.
