KARACHI: Industrialists from the SITE area convened to honor the memory of Lt. Col. Shahzada Gulfraz Shaheed, who sacrificed his life fighting the Indian proxy group, Khwarij, in Bannu District. They affirmed that the sacrifices of martyrs will not be in vain and expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
According to S.I.T.E Association of Industry, the condolence reference at the SITE Association of Industry was attended by officials including Wing Commander 63-Wing Rangers, Lt. Col. Haroon Sarfraz, and SITE Association leaders Zubair Motiwala and Abdul Rehman Fudda. Zubair Motiwala proposed a fund for the families of martyrs, urging the business community to support the families of those who sacrifice their lives in service. He emphasized gratitude toward the Armed Forces for protecting Pakistan's geographical boundaries.
SITE Association President Abdul Rehman Fudda praised Lt. Col. Gulfraz for his service as Wing Commander of 92-Wing Rangers, noting the ongoing defense of Pakistan on various fronts, including economic contributions from industrialists. Lt. Col. Haroon Sarfraz acknowledged the business community's respect for the Armed Forces and highlighted Lt. Col. Gulfraz’s legacy of high security standards in the SITE area.
Abdul Hadi, Chairman of the Law and Order Committee, commended Lt. Col. Gulfraz's leadership, citing a resolved extortion case. He prayed for the perseverance of 'Jazba-e-Shahadat' within the armed forces and the acceptance of their sacrifices for Pakistan.
